This 1904 building on the corner of Fourth and Market in San Francisco was renovated and restored in 1999. Handcraft Tile made the brownish-red tiles to match the color and texture of the original exterior tiles. |
The picture above shows a close-up of the deep and rich texture of these unusual tiles. The recessed areas have a dark brown, almost black color. The surface areas are many shades of golden and reddish browns. |
